This is a EUROPEAN UNION problem! No matter how Putin apologists try to make this a “NATO made me do it” moronic deflection, diversion, etc…. And I hate to say this, but GOING FORWARD it must be the EU that leads (and, good thing, idiot Biden is not capable (and as you’ll see going further how bumbling Biden was just what Putin was waiting for two decades for)). The EU has nations with Military, and they can, could, should, gather as THE EU, Vote on Resolutions, and then ACT (AS clearly stated/Resolved) THE EU upon them – whether that means EU Nations selling more arms or imposing a NO FLY ZONE would be WITHOUT THE UK and USA (NOT part of the EU, and NOT A NATO OPERATION)! Even though many EU Nations are also part of NATO, NATO can, could, should, MAKE THE DISTINCTION, those EU Nations acting upon themselves DO NOT GET TO INVOKE ARTICLE V (because they will have forfited the DEFENSE ONLY PACT)! Now, having said that, of course, I feel #BIDEN could have done more to HELP #UKRAINE before the invasion (like #Trump had, to deter #Putin) and my heart goes out to the #Ukrainians BUT this is EUROPE’S PROBLEM “mostly” (yes, we (USA) have an INTEREST IN PREVENTING EXPANSION of Russia and return to #SovietUnion days) but not to the degree of putting US Troops on the ground there (at least, NOT YET, things could drastically escalate and get out-of-hand that could change that). We are NOT OBLIGATED to Ukraine based on NATO, as Ukraine had been begging we let them in but the West kept dragging its feet (yes, in part, Ukraine corruption), but WE ARE OBLIGATED by deal that Clinton made with them if they gave up their Nukes (which was DUMB of them to have done – see: https://theintercept.com/2022/02/27/ukraine-nuclear-weapons-russia-invasion/)! Nor was Ukraine a EU member, but has filed for membership and getting fast-track approval. [Sun Feb 27 2022 update - while we just discucsed sanctions above, FINALLY the EU (European Union) that is the only real entity that exists for France, Spain, Italy, and Germany, to ACT under - is indeed FINALLY taking some measures toward sanctioning not just Russia but equally guilty culprit of Belarus. Germany, after WWII restrictions, be sure to check out the ATROCITY chapter of TerrorStrikes when released Apr. 15, has moved to change them and allowing for German weapons manufacturers to send military weapons into a conflict zone. The EU has closed all airspace to Russian air-assets. These are NOT LIKELY to matter, as again times for sanctions was BEFORE to deter. Even TURKEY, who we've recently discussed should be kicked out of NATO as Erdogan has gone away from the alliance and recently purchased Russian weapons rather than from NATO ally nations, has mobilized (doing far more than other NATO nations) additional Turkish Naval forces into the Black Sea in potential move (if things escalate more) to BLOCKADE any additional Russian ships from entering and therefore would engage Ukraine from the Black Sea more than the very few Russian ships currently there-in/engaged)!

From RETALK where @ABCCCC asked “What does Russia produce? Why do we never see a MADE IN RUSSIA label?”

My response….
Their land is very harsh and inhospitable for producing much of anything anyone would want, other than OIL needed in our modern society ever since Industrial Revolution. Then of course their is there never-ending fealty to a failed Governmental system that is not, never will be, conducive to innovation or incentive to produce anything (they all, under the yoke of Communism, do the least possible to get by). And therefore NOT SURPRISING they (Putin, Communist Party) want to TAKE FROM OTHERS what they can never produce/have (for the varying host of reasons) like AGAIN INVADING AND ATTEMPTING TO EXPLOIT UKRAINE AND UKRAINIANS in the thoughts that would solve their issues of Food shortages by using Ukraine as its bread-basket (as done previously, under Soviet expansion, before WWII and post-WWII Soviet occupations, sad History no-one bothers to learn for the CONTEXT of events happening now). But, as always, all they do is export pain, misery, destruction, and once gaining THE MAGIC LANDS THAT IS SUPPOSED TO SAVE THEM it never achieves their Goals (long term) because they still then control it under FAILED COMMUNISM PRINCIPLES that then turns their new territory into worthless, ever declining returns, unproductive territory like in Russia.

As the saying goes they are “a Gas Station (Oil really) with a Military and Dictator Hitler wanna-be COO”

I am now inserting a Feb 2024 update, before continuing below with what was a Jun 2023 update…

I was on with Rick Walker of Maverick News Canada again last night (Mon. Feb. 19th 2024) and appears someone got their panties in a bunch about HISTORICAL FACTS AND CONTEXT they didn’t like (probably cuz they want to maintain their Putin Apologists delusion bubble…. So, he wrote me:

Someone messaged and says you said Russia invaded Finland first,? …and took issue with the phrase the Nazis liberated Ukraine….i.dont recall you saying either thing….I get what you would have meant about liberating Ukraine ..that’s how Ukrainians viewed it at the time…and Ukraine has been a door mat for countries for a long time…no wonder they long for independence.

I wrote back:

LOL, sometimes I talk fast and rattle off several points and some may get glossed over. Curious, IS that person of Russian descent?!?! And those FACTS inconvenient to them?!?! Where-as my being of German descent am WELL VERSED on all the good, bad, ugly, of German History (not an apologist for it, like I’m betting your “offended” person is for Putin/Russia).

Yes, Russia invaded Finland before Hitler invaded anyone. Why does anyone question why FINLAND wanted and was recently granted admission to the NATO pact?!?!? All these FACTS relate. Nothing exists in a complete vacuum.

Hitler could have been SMARTER and more STRATEGIC and literally been FINLAND’S SAVIOR invading to “liberate” (yes, agreed, somewhat “loose” use of the term (just as those in Ukraine did/do about Germany aiding them expel Russians)) and taking on Russia first as MEIN KAMPF originally (I believe, long time since I studied it) called to do to appease the West at first knowing he planned to go both EAST and WEST eventually, and being more HOSTILE toward the West first drove The West into the “temporarily convenient pact” (not real ALLY/ALLIANCE) with Russia/Stalin to defeat Hitler – despite all that Churchill rightly called out about slaughter in Russia under Russian Leadership pre, during, and then of course continued post WWII, and Patton wanting to continue through Berlin and onto to Moscow to defeat the other clearly EVIL regime of Russia/Stalin. It was kinda really The West that forced Hitler’s hand with their complaints about Poland (Eastward toward Russia push as originally planned) that then pivoted the War West (and, again, that Germany/Russia non-aggression pact that I think why The West then reacted, despite Chamberlain farce agreement, as they felt they had too). Remember too, we cannot ignore Hitler’s meddling in Franco Spain that triggered major concern in The West.

Had Hitler gone into Finland and around Poland to then get/go at Russia, The West would have likely BEEN SILENT. He then likely would have had to expand by going into and through Poland too at some point for War tactics/logistics alone, but that at that point likely would not have “triggered” The Wests reaction at that point as it would have been seen as Hitler on Stalin and The West actually HAPPY TO SEE both them try and destroy each other.

HISTORICAL FACT, that I use to usually further demonstrate the History of Russia/Soviet aggression unprovoked upon others for Centuries. And how many just want to conveniently IGNORE the non-aggression alliance Stalin initially had with Hitler/Germany and invaded Poland along with Hitler/Germany. People just like to IGNORE inconvenient FACTS.

And need I REALLY have to state an obvious: HITLER used as a rouse “just wanting to unite the Germanian peoples” also one of the spagetthi at the wall excuse Putin floats “many in those lands historically Russian speakers he wants to unite!”
Duplicity. Double-Standards. Inconvenient FACTS.

And, yes, the Ukrainians then saw Germany as liberating them from Russia – but, obviously, there is then the BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR paradigm and getting worse than what you already had. They never really were RULED OVER by the NAZIs long enough for anything beyond their SHORT-SIGHTED “at least they ain’t Russian” vision. Again, THAT is the thinking/reasoning of those wearing Swastikas in Ukraine today – as I said during the Show – it is an ANTI-RUSSIA thing not really a PRO NAZI thing. But when people see Swastikas the lose any CONCERN for any, to entertain/hear any, distinguishing CONTEXT. But as I’ve said over and over and over, I DEAL IN REALITY and WHOLE PICTURES, the Good, the Bad, the Ugly, of the WHOLE OVERALL BROAD CONTEXT PICTURE.

So, yes, no wonder, completely understanding, why they would want not just independence but OFFICIAL NATO MEMBERSHIP PROTECTION… But, again, FACT IS, during Clinton (when they gave up the Nukes the Russians left behind in Ukraine), allowing them to be dismantled, THE USA MADE THEM DEFACTO NATO MEMBERS. Period! Like it or Not, irrelevant, it is WHY WE ARE HERE WHERE WE ARE TODAY! Just as people LOVE to solely blame Bush for invasion of Iraq when it was BILL CLINTON that signed into Law the “Iraqi Liberation Act” making it US POLICY that Saddam would be removed one way or another, it was just Bush that then mobilized forces to finish what CLINTON had started.

Founders along those lines gave us the “Articles Of Confederation” but not long after it was determined a slightly more encompassing “Federal Union” and the “United States Constitution” was born that would still (but over time been weakened) Sovereign States’ Rights and reserving all else to “We The People” within States or Constitutional Amendment – and we will discuss the full/proper Political Spectrum and “Overton Window” USA lurch Leftward towards FASCICRATS-ism. US / Western “Republic” limits Govt affords, demands it protects, “We The People” Sovereign God given Rights, unlike Republics in East (China, Iran, N. Korea, Russia) whose “Republic Constitution” grant the Ruling Party and Government Power to give or take Rights to/from their Peoples.

An old Case many are trying to bring back to the fore and attach as part of supportive arguments of “Government overreach (usurpation)” challenge of Alphabet Agencies acting far outside their purview (designed, and legitimately “authorized” by Congress scope) case to the SCOTUS. An “in the weeds” discussion for advanced Patriots looking to Restore Our American Republic.
