Just remember that what Jesus is telling us is just what the Lord God, immanent in all things, has decided. It is those people who are walking the “straight and the narrow path” who are going to make it into the Kingdom of God, which is within you (Luke 17:21). The rest won’t.

Jesus
‘Now therefore say to the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem, (those living in nations that too long have ignored God’ Truth) This is what the LORD says: Look! I am preparing a disaster for you and devising a plan against you. So turn from your evil ways, each one of you, and reform your ways and your actions. (Jeremiah 18:11)’ But disaster will come, God’ plan against these will not long be withheld; for great is the sin of the nations. Great is the disobedience and reckless abandon of morality, decency and truth.
The lamp of God’ goodness has been snuffed out. The fire of faith, the glimmer of grace, the miracle of mercy…all ignored. As man seeks his own light he drifts farther and farther into the chasm of darkness. Evil shrouds itself as an angel of light, darkness masquerading as light deceives millions, nations crumble under the weight of sin and the suffering continues. ‘For the lips of a priest (a pastor, preacher, prophet or pope…) should guard knowledge, and people should seek instruction from his mouth, for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. But you (who have declared yourself men and women of God.) have turned aside from The Way, you have caused many to stumble by your instructions. (Malachi 2:7-8)’…
‘But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our LORD JESUS Christ. They said to you; in the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions. It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit. (Jude 1:17-19)’…evil men and women, haters of all that is good, determined to cause chaos, confusion and calamity to gain power, position and popularity. Haters of righteousness, rejectors of morality, decency and truth….beware their folly and do not be among them.

To this world Jesus and Mary may appear dark, as they tell the truth of the Law of One: ‘what we do unto others we do unto ourselves’. But to the Spiritual world and the Creation, Jesus and Mary are all Light – spiritual light.. they emit light because they tell the truth. As any sensible person in their right mind would do automatically. But to be in the right state of mind, one has to overlook or go beyond the maya or false light of this world where everything is turned upside down as Jesus has said in His book, ‘A Course in Miracles’: “Upside down thinking” He said…. where the good is the bad and the bad is the good, where Light is darkness and the darkness is light. Where the evil resides (‘evil’ is the word ‘live’ spelled backwards), where death and the fear of death prevail. When we are driven by fear, we block out the reality, we deny what is and what happens that we don’t like, or FEAR..
And your Mary quote: “do not draw near to a woman” (Exodus 19:15), it means do not waste your sexual energy !!! “.. and they washed their clothes” (Exodus 19:14) means they they purified themselves both inside and out, in mind and in body, by not eating flesh nor drinking spirits, nor smoking, nor worshiping the ‘golden calf’ – meaning the things of this world that hold them captive here. Adam and Eve fell (in vibration) because they discovered the sex for pleasure.
