African-American Kids with the Highest IQs Among World’s Top Geniuses
An IQ of 100 is the average. A score of 140, however, is considered a Genius. The world has quite some geniuses drawn from across the globe. Out of the global numbers Ramarni Wilfred, Anala Beevers, and Alannah George, all African-Americans and members of Mensa, the World’s oldest high IQ society, aren’t left out.
Mensa is a non-profit organization that provides a forum for intellectual exchange among its affiliates in more than 100 countries worldwide. Its members constitute people who tally at the 98th percentile or higher on an approved intelligence test such as a standardized, supervised IQ quiz.
Let’s see what’s unique about these three Black kids.
- Ramarni Wilfred
Ramarni wrote his first paper on philosophy of fairness at the age of 10, and his remarkably top essay score made him eligible to take an IQ test at Birkbeck University.
The British teen has an IQ score of 162, beating Bill Gates, Albert Einstein, and Steven Hawking’s.
The 16-year-old, who is rated top 50 world smartest teens, hopes to attend Oxford University to pursue his dream of becoming an astrophysicist.
- Anala Beevers
At only 10 months, Anala could identify each letter of the alphabet, and at 18 months, she could recount numbers in both English and Spanish.
At the age of 4 years, Anala had an IQ score of over 145, and by the time she was 5 years in 2014, she could recite the name of every North American state on the map, together with their capitals.
News has it that her current fixation is the names of planets and dinosaurs.
- Alannah George
Alannah, the 4-year-old with an obsession for words and numbers, earned an IQ of 140 after being tested by educational psychologist Dr. Peter Congdon. She is the youngest member of Mensa from the United Kingdom.
At her tender age, she taught herself how to read before starting school and she would recite the alphabet and times tables instead of burying herself in the nursery rhymes. Alannah could form complete sentences at 18 months old, and at 3 years, she could read paragraphs from her favorite books.

I actually got dumber reading this. The Title says “African-American Kids with the Highest IQs Among World’s Top Geniuses.” OK, i’m intrigued.
First mention is Ramarni Wilfred (who i already know is not American). Uh oh. Doubt at your journalistic credibility seeps in, but I will keep reading.
Second mention (and third) is a 4-year-old?! Is this satire? No?! You’re being serious? LOLOLOL
Ok, i’m done. Dogshit identitypoliticking shitpost is dogshit. The smartest african americans are a brit and 2 4 year olds. Should I be insulted or just plain dumbfounded at how idiotic this article is.
First of all 145 is not that high. Having attended both Cal Poly and UCLA, I can tell you i was in classes FULL of asians with 145 iqs, it’s not an anomaly in any university biology program (universities that aren’t HOWARD, that is).
Having matriculated from California’s gifted and talented program (where genius kids go to learn), I can tell you that very few African Americans were in my classes, in fact I can remember 1. 1. But I can name 40 asians, none of whom were british or 4 years old.
Pretty pathetic when the best example you can find for black genius is a child.
