The earliest practice of Branding the Slaves is recorded in Early Ancient and Egyptian History Books which were not only visible marks but slaves were also castrated ( their ability to reproduce was taken away).

Throughout early American history the practice of Branding of the Slaves with the Owner’s Own Mark using Glowing Red Irons was very common by the Democrat Slave Owners of the South.
