MH370: Proving Plane Is At Diego Garcia Using 40 Degree Satellite Fact.
OK, the simple misdirection they used will astonish people.
It concerns the angle of the detection the INMARSAT satellite detected MH370 at.
This angle is what they derived the search arc from. Here is a pic released of this angle and arc.
Notice the red line is on the 40 degrees line. The problem with the layout, is that they are using the Look Angle, which is the angle one would use if looking up from earth.
“The Look Angle map gives users an visual indication of the angle from the ground in a particular area, to the I-4 satellite used for communication. Note that the farther the user is from the equator, the lower the look angle. Low look angles will have more difficulty communicating with the satellite“
But the information given by INMARSAT, is the DETECTION ANGLE> This puts the angle directly below satellite at 0, and goes out 5 degrees each ring, putting the location of the plane much closer to the satellite.
Given the new information, the arc map should look like this.
The area within the black circle should be the search area. Right where Diego Garcia is…
If we were given the other 6 handshake angles, we could calculate the exact direction of flight path.
I’d imagine this is why they are hiding the other 6 “handshakes”
Edit to add: If that still doesn’t convince you, I did the angle calculation. Given the height of satellite (35,800km/22245mi). Distance from satellite location 0 lat 63 E long puts it approx 800 miles from Diego Garcia. Knowing the Opposite (22245) and the Adjacent (800) we can calculate the tangent (degree of angle)
22245/800 = 27.8 degrees. Last known ping was 40 degrees, give or take. Altitude of AC and curvature of earth, atmospheric disturbance could easily put plane at Diego Garcia, and this is just the minimal fact being given. Imagine if we had ALL the facts.
