The Rod Of Iron

  The kingdom of Israel was a kingdom of flesh and blood, under a covenant based upon law. The kingdom of God that came in Christ is a Spiritual kingdom that is under grace and a new covenant.

  “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.” 31-33

  People today misread this prophecy about the New Covenant, in that it clearly says that the New Covenant is not according to the Old Covenant, it does not borrow upon the Old Covenant in anyway. And as we read the New Testament or New Covenant we understand that it is not based upon the law, nor upon one being born of the flesh and blood of Israel, which we learn from Paul can not grant access into the kingdom of God that came in Christ. Jesus tells us that being born of the flesh will not allow you into the kingdom you have to be born again and of the Spirit. Hence we enter the this new kingdom by way of faith in Christ, in His name and His blood, and by way of His Spirit.

  We do however read that in the New Covenant God will write is His law in us upon our hearts, and in the Old Testament the word of God was often translate to mean the law beyond that of Moses or Torah because the law required them to read the word of God, all of it.  The word of God is His law in that we are to read it and write it into us, as seed planted in us. Furthermore Christ summed up all of the laws into two, and then Paul sums it all up in that he said that love works no ill to his neighbor therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.  And God is love.  Hence the law is rather simple if you apply it this way in Christ.

  “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.” 1 Corinthians 15:50

  Hence the New Covenant is in no wise based upon the Old.

  In the old kingdom one became a citizen by being born as an heir to one of the twelve sons of Jacob, where a soul was a citizen through flesh and blood means under the names of the fathers of the tribes. In the new covenant one becomes a citizen of the kingdom by faith in the name, person and blood of Jesus Christ, by the name of the Lion of the tribe of Judah and His blood, the blood of the Lamb. Our old flesh and blood means nothing in the kingdom of God, even if we are descended from one of the twelve tribes that old flesh and blood will not grant us access to the kingdom, nor make us holy for no one is born holy after the flesh. As it is written flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God. Now the main reality here is this, we are not under the old covenant, we are in a new covenant which is a better covenant and we have a superior kingdom which is a Spiritual kingdom whereas the old kingdom of flesh and blood is inferior. God will not go back to that which is inferior, we look not to Jerusalem of old but look up and forwards to a superior city which is from above, New Jerusalem.

  Anyone who preaches another Gospel than this is lying, any prophet who delves into identity with the flesh and blood of old is operating in the flesh and knows nothing at all about the Spiritual. Our flesh and the blood in our veins is not going to save us in the least. The names of Ephraim and Manasseh will in no wise save us, it is only by way of the name of the Lion of Judah and His blood, the blood of the Lamb that we can be saved and made holy people. No one after the flesh is born holy.

Flesh And Blood Does Not Grant Access To The Kingdom Of God

  When you understand Jesus and the apostles in their original context, such terms used in the New Testament such as “flesh and blood” most often refer to the belief of the Jews and the tribes in the Old Testament with regards to them being born into a kingdom by way of flesh and blood means as a descendant of one of the twelve tribes. And so we read that flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God which means being born a Jew does not grant access to the kingdom that came in Christ. Also where we read that our warfare is not with flesh and blood this means we are not at war with people because of their race or heritage but instead we war with spiritual forces but remember these forces are in evil wicked people and so these are the kinds of people we are at war with.

We Are Jars And Hence Vessels Of Clay That The Rod Of Iron Can Break

  These earthly vessels that we are, are mere works of clay. We are jars of clay meant to carry the water of life to the world. Unfortunately some of these vessels of clay boast of them self, saying they are more special in the eyes of God than other of His vessels. Some say that they are born of holy flesh? Born as a descendant of one of the tribes they say? Yet flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God. The rod of iron which is the word of God, is the rod or reed of measurement. Its the standard that we bare in the battlefield. You know of yourself that no flesh can measure up by the standard of His word. All of His people must overcome and understand these things. No one is born holy, all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. The names of the ancient fathers of Israel will not save their children. Neither Judah’s nor Ephraim’s blood in your veins, nor their names on your name can save you. The names of Abraham and Jacob in your ancestry will not allow you access to the kingdom of God which came in Christ. Your own flesh and blood will not grant any access into the kingdom. It is only by the name of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah and his blood the blood of the Lamb that we are saved, and come to enter into the kingdom of Christ. Hence if you believe otherwise, and preach such you are a false christ and false prophet preaching about a flesh and blood kingdom and filled with a fleshly and hence carnal vision and interpretation of things.

  “And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. And I will give him the morning star. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” Rev 2:26-29

  “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him (the dragon) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Rev 12:10-11

  He rules and He reigns now. Do not despise the coming of the rod of iron. See the light of it! There is coming a new day! The kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of our God, and like a great and high mountain filling all of the world (Daniel chapter 2) shall His kingdom grow! His is an everlasting kingdom, the one that shall not ever be destroyed!

The Deception Of The Flesh

  Men today interpret prophecy carnally, that is in fleshly ways and visions rather than spiritual, thinking that the flesh and blood of the descendants of the twelve tribes will automatically inherit the kingdom of God.

  There are two things about the flesh that ensnare people, first the lust of the flesh with its selfishness and pride, the flesh can lead us to be arrogant, and through our own deceptions we can come to believe we can do not wrong, the mind of flesh can lead men to disbelieve in God and commit all kinds of sin following the lust of the flesh. The second snare of the flesh is to believe that one can be born a holy people, and so be born of a holy nation or tribe and hence believe that through this means of being a chosen people or race who are of the flesh and blood lineage of a holy tribe or nation of people, who believe they automatically have the favor and blessings of God, and so, one might also believe they can do no wrong because they are favored of God. However no one is born holy after the flesh, not by way of a tribe or nation of people. God told us in His word that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. The only way anyone of us can become righteous and holy is through faith in Jesus Christ and His blood that was shed for our redemption and atonement. I find it hard to believe that some Christians today believe they are more holy than anyone else because they believe their ancestors were among the lost tribes of Israel, yet this very thing exist today. Hence the devil has his way of using the flesh itself to make people believe that after their flesh they are holy and highly favored while their flesh displeases God.

  As for those who think they are God’s elect in the earth today, by way of the names of the sons of Jacob and hence the bloodlines of the twelve tribes, no one can be saved nor enter the kingdom of God except by way of the name of the Lion of Judah and His blood, the blood of the Lamb.

  Now all of this is prophecy, you see you are not entering any of those twelve gates of the new city by way of your flesh and blood, since the Spirit of Christ that precious pearl stands in the gates and grants or denies access.
